Meerkads is a performance marketing platform designed to help businesses and agencies manage, analyze, and optimize their advertising and ecommerce operations. The platform includes AI-powered features for analysis, creative generation, budget optimization, and campaign management. We ask all users to use these capabilities responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith.
1. General Principles
You agree to use the Meerkads platform only for lawful, legitimate business purposes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including the actions of anyone you grant access to.
You agree that you will not use the platform in any way that:
Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
Harms, threatens, harasses, or discriminates against any individual or group
Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
Attempts to circumvent any security, access control, or usage limitation feature of the platform
2. Advertising and Campaign Activity
2.1 Lawful Advertising
All advertising campaigns created, managed, or published through Meerkads must comply with:
The advertising policies of each connected platform (including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and others)
Applicable laws governing advertising, consumer protection, and marketing communications in the jurisdictions where ads are served
Industry standards for truthful and non-deceptive advertising
2.2 Prohibited Advertising Content
You may not use Meerkads to create, publish, or promote advertising content that:
Contains false, misleading, or deceptive claims about products, services, or outcomes
Promotes illegal products, services, or activities
Targets vulnerable groups in exploitative or harmful ways
Violates applicable regulations on financial promotions, health claims, or regulated industries
Includes content that is defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory
2.3 Automated Campaign Actions
The platform includes features that allow automated actions such as pausing, scaling, or adjusting campaigns based on defined rules or AI recommendations. You are responsible for configuring and supervising these automated actions. Meerkads is not liable for the outcomes of automated actions that you have authorized and activated.
3. AI-Powered Features
3.1 Responsible Use of AI Features
Meerkads provides AI-powered tools for creative generation, performance analysis, budget optimization, comment management, and campaign strategy. You agree to:
Review all AI-generated content before publishing or acting on it
Not rely solely on AI recommendations for material financial or business decisions without independent verification
Ensure that AI-generated creatives and copy comply with the advertising policies of each platform where they are used
3.2 Prohibited Uses of AI Features
You may not use Meerkads AI features to:
Generate content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to mislead consumers
Create advertising materials that violate applicable laws or platform policies
Produce content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including unauthorized use of brand names, logos, or copyrighted material
Automate the spread of misinformation or manipulative content
Circumvent the content moderation systems of connected advertising platforms
3.3 AI Comment Management
The AI-powered comment management feature may be used to moderate and respond to comments on your ads. You are responsible for ensuring that automated responses comply with applicable consumer protection and communications laws. You must not use this feature to engage in deceptive practices or suppress legitimate consumer feedback in violation of applicable law.
4. Data and Privacy
4.1 Your Responsibility for Connected Data
When you connect advertising accounts, ecommerce stores, email marketing tools, or analytics platforms to Meerkads, you confirm that you have the legal right to access and process that data, and that doing so complies with the terms of those third-party services and applicable data protection laws.
4.2 Personal Data
You may not use Meerkads to process personal data in a manner that violates applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, KVKK, or CCPA. You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data you bring into the platform has been collected lawfully and with appropriate consent where required.
4.3 No Unauthorized Data Collection
You may not use the platform to collect, harvest, or compile personal data about individuals without their knowledge or consent, or in violation of the terms of any connected platform.
5. Platform Integrity
5.1 No Unauthorized Access
You may not attempt to access any part of the Meerkads platform, infrastructure, or data that you are not authorized to access. This includes attempting to access other users' accounts, data, or configurations.
5.2 No Reverse Engineering
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying logic of the Meerkads platform or any of its AI models.
5.3 No Automated Abuse
You may not use scripts, bots, crawlers, or automated tools to interact with the platform in a manner that exceeds normal usage patterns, places excessive load on infrastructure, or circumvents usage limits.
5.4 No Resale or Unauthorized Distribution
You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Meerkads platform available to third parties outside your organization without our prior written consent. This includes white-labeling the platform under a different brand name or offering it as part of a competing product.
6. Account and Access
6.1 Accurate Information
You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering your account and at all times during your use of the platform. You may not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
6.2 Account Sharing
Account access is granted on a per-brand basis as defined under your subscription plan. You may not share login credentials outside your authorized team or use a single account to serve multiple unrelated organizations beyond your plan entitlement.
6.3 Reporting Vulnerabilities
If you discover a security vulnerability in the platform, you agree to report it to us promptly at info@meerkads.com rather than exploiting it or disclosing it publicly. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will work to address reported issues in a timely manner.
7. Enforcement
7.1 Monitoring
Meerkads reserves the right to monitor platform usage to ensure compliance with this AUP and our Terms of Service. We will not access your business data or ad account content except as necessary to provide the services, investigate a reported violation, or comply with a legal obligation.
7.2 Consequences of Violation
If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take any of the following actions at our discretion:
Issue a warning and request corrective action
Temporarily suspend access to specific features or the platform as a whole
Terminate your account and subscription without refund
Report activity to relevant authorities or advertising platforms where required by law
We will provide notice where reasonably practicable before taking action, except in cases of serious or repeated violations, or where immediate action is required to protect the platform or other users.
7.3 Appeals
If you believe your account has been suspended or terminated in error, you may contact us at info@meerkads.com to request a review. We will endeavor to respond to appeals within five (5) business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable law, or industry standards. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
